Families

Dandenong Ranges Childcare Centre prides itself in developing and maintaining strong partnerships between our educators and the families who utilise our service. When educators and family members work together by maintaining open communication it ensures a high level of consistancy for the children in our care and helps them to feel a greater sense of belonging.

Our educators ensure they communicate with each family about their children’s time with us each day, and ask that parents ensure they share any information, questions, requests, concerns and feedback with us as things occur. This way families are able to assist our educators in meeting their children’s care and wellbeing needs.

Our educators also play a valuable role in providing families with any support, information and advice they may need to promote positive experiences for children.

There are a number of ways families can get involved at our service. Some of these ways include providing feedback on our educational programs, policies and procedures, attending special events held at the centre or within the community, attending excursions and incursions, or volunteering their time to engage with the children.
